The story says that Adobe is pulling out due to slow sales of Creative Suite 4.
Sad news if true.

Ever since Acrobat 4, we have been able to place movies into PDF documents.
And for a long time in InDesign, we have been able to insert movies for export into PDF documents.
And there has always been the option to link to a URL to insert the movie instead of inserting the movie into the ID/PDf [...]

So I just got a note from the production manager for my ID CS4 VQS book.
They had some problems with an image on a page that they said they couldn’t convert to greyscale.

About a month ago I got a file from someone that showed text that was rasterized during flattening.
