BatchOutput Automates Printing and PDF Export

Zevrix has released an update to their BatchOutput plug-in for InDesign with several new features, including export to PDF as single pages, and variable PDF file names. In a clever move, you can even automatically insert any text from your InDesign document into the PDF file name. For more information, see http://www.zevrix.com/batchoutput.html.

I snagged the demo and the Batch PDF Export worked pretty well.

What I REALLY want is a rename at Print feature for sending single pages to our RIP that have rhe document name plus the page number.

Does anyon know of a plugin for this?

In XPress we use the rename at print feature which is part of Badia Printools extension.

Bill, You might want to take a look at one of the free javascript at Adobe Studio Exchange. It’s called: PageExportUtility4.1.

This JavaScript exports single pages from an InDesign document in PostScript, PDF, EPS or JPEG formats. Various naming options are available. Layer versioning is now supported

This is great, but it apppears that the plugin is only available for the Mac. Do I have this correct? If so does anyone know of a PC plugin or script that will allow batch creation of pdfs from multiple InDesign documents?
