Coasting Into a Suite Life

The Adobe Creative Suite lifestyle branding continues. We all saw the pillows from MySuiteStuff.com that look like the application icons. But if you’re more of a lounge lizard than a couch potato, you might be interested in Meninos’s Designer Set of coasters. Just the thing for the thirsty geek. And in time for Father’s Day. Hint hint, kids.

If I’m Adobe, I can’t get this stuff licensed fast enough.

“Photoshop” has already entered the public consciousness as a verb. Maybe someday if Adobe sells enough ID merch, the kids will say “I gotta InDesign my report. It’s due tomorrow!”

Personally, I’d like to start my day with a big bowl of Creative Suitees, the Breakfast of Champions of All Media.

Can someone in Seattle put in the call to General Mills and get this done? Please.

How geeky is it that those coasters make me want to make a quilted cover for my iMac that has squares of the CS icons for the design?

At first I the coasters were a doormat, but I don’t think you would want to walk all over the creative suite.

    Robin-

I think there’s a market for a “Quilted Suite.” Go for it and figure out how to mass produce ‘em.

In terms of the geek factor, I think Rene Descartes said it best, “I geek, therefore I am.”
