First Annual InDesignSecrets Listener/Reader Survey
We need your help! Can you take 2 minutes to answer 12 easy questions in this survey? For a sweet incentive, we’re going to randomly draw 8 prizes from all the people who fill out the survey. Prizes include lynda.com training videos ($149 value each!), books, posters, and $25 iTunes gift certificates!
(Putting your name and email address on the survey is totally optional, though you have to add it if you want to be elegible to win something, of course. But even if you do, we will not spam you or even add you to our mailing list. We just need it to contact you in case you win.)
Please fill out the survey and — if you feel like it — give us feedback on what you like, what you don’t like, and what you’d like to see different at indesignsecrets.com!
This survey is for people who read the indesignsecrets.com blog, listen to the indesignsecrets audio podcast, or watch the indesignsecrets videocast. The survey entries will close 5/22/09.
Thanks!
You might add “I’m following the website via the rss-feed” as an option in the survey. That’s kind of visiting it daily, but not the same thing. However, I think it also is different from visiting the site just “a few times a week”, isn’t it?
DrWatson, hmmm. Good point. I looked at the survey and considered changing that question (or adding “via rss feed” as an answer) but we really are asking how often people visit the web site, just as the question asks.
It would have been a good idea to have added a couple questions about our RSS feed (like, it would help us to know which feed readers our audience prefers), though. Next survey!
Thanks for the comment.
(So, which feed reader are you using?)
I’ll assume (despite the saying) that’s a question not just for DrWatson and say use Google Reader, but I don’t have this site added to it as I have it on Firefox’ Fast Dial plugin and always check it first thing in the morning while Outlook is downloading last night’s spam … I mean customer emails
By the way, I’m editing this post and find the edit box is hidden under the recent posts and recent comments “boxes”… Slightly annoying.
Hi – I also use Firefox
@Roland: That IS strange! I wonder why the Edit dialog box appears like that in Firefox. We’ll look into it.
Just took the survey. Love InDesignSecrets, wouldn’t change a thing. (I downloaded the first 60 or 70 episodes shortly after downloading the CS3 trial version. Ended up buying InDesign after listening to all those podcasts in about a week. Yes, I do sometimes here your theme music in my sleep. Why do ask?)
A quick note on the survey: the last question is for my name AND email in one line. Wouldn’t it be easier to parse if they were separate? Kills autofill too.
I use google reader to get the RSS feed from the website, and then click to read full articles as I have time and they interest me. Off to take the survey now…
