Hi everyone.

In CS5 and CS5.5 when you use the keyboard shortcut to scale down a graphic (command-option-shift drag frame) it now scales the picture from the centre point, whilst in earlier versions it scaled down from the top left-hand corner.

I find the older way better as I can place the graphic in the correct position and it is just a case of scaling the rest of the picture up/down to the column/text width, whilst with the new way it is more frustrating trying to get it to the exact text width.

Is there a way of changing the preferences so that the scaling reverts back to the old way from the top left-hand corner?

Thanks in advance.

It's because you're holding down the Option/Alt key. That tells InDesign to center the transformation. (As far as I know, it has always been like that.)
