Hello, y'all!  I am using InDesign CS4 and I really miss the zoom panel.  I hate remembering keyboard shortcuts – I like to have all my panels open and mouse around.

Does anyone know of any free addon that will get me the old CS3 zoom panel back into CS4?

It's funny but this was pointed out to me only last week:

Mr. Jongware,  thanks for the advert; I think I've noticed that before, but its still not the same.  I know IND has a funky mouse-zoom thing, but its not the same as the old CS3 zoom panel.  That zoom panel is in Illustrator and Photoshop – and you get the little square that shows you where you are on the pasteboard.  You can move it around and slide the zoom bar too.  I miss it alot!

A-ha, you were referring to the Navigator panel. You'll have to "live peacefully without the Navigator".

(The biggest joke of this sort of 'improvements' is Bob also remarks it's still available in both Illustrator and Photoshop. How's that for a "Creative Suite" of like-minded programs and interfaces, Adobe?)

Mr. Jongware,

I am having real problems with script panels.  I have posted in many places, but nobody ever answers – I suppose because nobody knows why.

I even posted here in InDesign Secrets, and bumped myself, but still got no reply.

It seems that whenever I load a script palette, it won't return keyboard focus to the main window!  That goes for *any* script palette.  I am running CS4 on XP Pro SP3.
