OK – I know this has to be somewhere, but I can't quite find it.

I'm not looking for true imposition with pagination.  I just want the ability to multiple up a multi-page document.

Just a kind of step and repeat on steriods – I have a document that is 300  single pages 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 . I'd like to be able to change the size of the document (to 8 1/2 x 11) and step and repeat the item on the page (it's a frame with a placed image in it) so it duplicated and shifted to the right 5 1/2″ (so they touch), and then repeat that for each page so that I ended up with the same number of pages (300) but each one is a double so it can be printed and cut in half to end up with two documents.

In case anyone else is searching – I found a different way to attack this. Instead of working with the  InDesign pages, there's a script here:

that does just what I wanted from a PDF.
