Free Video: Helping QX Users Learn How to Use InDesign
September 28th, 2007If you know any QuarkXPress users who are trying to learn InDesign, you might point them to a new video that I made with Lynda.com. It’s free and about an hour long. While Adobe’s description says it’s for people who are considering InDesign, it’s really more like an “introduction to InDesign, plus some of my favorite tips & tricks.” The whole thing is designed to be used in conjuction with Adobe’s InDesign CS3 Conversion Guide, which you can also download from that page. (It’s good, but no, I didn’t write that.)
Happy InDesigning!

I tried to get to learn some of the what on “a new video I made”
I have a non fast, non stable internet connection to watch these videos, tried to download them then later watch them,
I could not have them as files on my desktop then watch them;
Is there a way to have them downloaded so I can watch them again and again, they are very interesting and fruitfull;
many thanks
I think the videos are in Flash video format, so you’d need to find some kind of “download flash video” utility that lets you do this. Adobe also offers this on disc to people as part of their “migration package,” but I have no idea how you’d get one other than directly from Adobe’s sales team.
