Get a Free Tips Issue with InDesign Mag Subscription

Hey! Psst! The good folks at InDesign Magazine (which is published by CreativePro.com) are offering a discount to InDesignSecrets readers: $39 for one year (six bi-monthly issues), which is about 33% off the normal rate. That adds up to somewhere around 400 pages of InDepth InDesign articles on everything from scripts and fonts to XML and color and design theory.

Plus, as part of this limited time offer, you can get a free 34-page PDF chock full o’ InDesign tips — sort of a “best of tips” from earlier issues.

This offer is only good from now until the 28th of March… So as they say on t.v.: Act Now! Not available in stores! But that’s not all…

Actually, um, that is all. $39 for a one-year subscription plus the awesome tips “ebook” plus. You can download a free trial issue if you’re not sure you’ll like what InDesign Magazine offers. But we’ve gotten such great feedback from readers over the past 3.5 years that we’ve been doing it… I really think you’re going to find it useful.

To get the special rate, plus the free tips PDF, you need to use this coupon code when ordering: PSST

Enjoy!

David, do you know if current subscribers to InDesign Magazine can get a copy of the 34-page tips issue?

@Richard: If you’ve been a subscriber, you probably already have these tips, as they’re made up of articles from previous issues. Thanks for subscribing!

I love InD Magazine, I always wait with great anticipation for the next delivery of it. It’s always a great read and resource to have.

    But…

I would also like the 34 page tip booklet please. I’ve been a subscriber for about 2 years now.

I don’t see why new people should get the benefit of the best tips from previous issues in a 34 page booklet and I don’t :) I want free stuff too :)

Any chance getting it with the next delivery?

    Pretty please?

    Wait a sec… 34 / 4? What’s going on there?

Will the code also discount a 2-year subscription with the tip booklet?

    Eugene,
Think PDF, not print and/or think front & back. 34/2=17 ;-)

A consolidated set of tips would be great though (hint, hint, hint)!

    David,

I just bought a 2-year subscription to InDesign Magazine in January. I had not previously subscribed as I didn’t use ID until the release of CS4 — I used Ventura (even though I did own CS2). So if there is a way to get the ID Tips booklet, I’d appreciate it.

Hi, folks! I’m the editor in chief of InDesign Magazine and can answer your questions about the tips booklet and discount code parameters.

If you are a current subscriber and write to me at tstone@indesignmag.com, I’ll personally send you the download link to the tips booklet.

The discount code “PSST” applies only to one-year subscriptions. However, a two-year subscription is actually a better deal, plus it gives you access to all back issues. One-year subscribers have to pay to see back issues — and at $11 an issue, that adds up fast! You can sign up for the two-year sub by going to http://www.indesignmag.com.

    Hope this helps.
