InDesign CS4 Training Titles Now Available at Lynda.com

Yes, I know that as I’m typing this CS4 isn’t even released yet. But some folks like to get a jump on things, so I wanted to let y’all know that Lynda.com has just released several InDesign CS4 titles (as well as titles on Photoshop, Illustrator, and other CS4 apps).

  • Anne-Marie presented a great title called “InDesign CS4 New Features,” which covers all the new stuff in detail.
  • I have recreated my “InDesign Essential Training” title for CS4, and my “InDesign Beyond the Basics” title will come out in another month or so (it’s shot, but apparently still in the editing room).
  • Deke McClelland has another entry-level InDesign training title called “Getting Started” which is like my Essentials title, but shorter and it sounds more like Deke than I do.

You can find even more CS4 titles on lynda.com’s CS4U page.

Of course, for those folks who’d rather just stick with CS3 or earlier products, they still have all those movies available, too. Here’s a link to the CS3 titles, just in casen you need them. And the CS2 titles… and they even have videos on CS and InDesign 2! Whew, talk about the “long tail”!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the movies. We had fun making them.

As far as computer based training is concerned, the Lynda.com series is very good. Still prefer learning from REAL PERSON though.
