InDesign How-To Guides Live on Adobe Site

Adobe has just launched a new page of InDesign “how to” and “did you know” tutorials and guides at: adobe.com/products/indesign/howto/

AdobeID_howto.jpg

There’s some good stuff in there, including a step-by-step for making shiny objects in InDesign that was reprinted from a chapter of Mike Rankin’s InDesign FX eBook. Several of the PDF files discuss little-known but useful InDesign CS5 features.

Adobe tells us that there are many more tutorials to come, so check back there periodically.

That’s funny! Thanks for the heads-up. I did not know about that page at Adobe. I’m sure it’ll change over time, so I took a snapshot here:

@graphic design: export to PDF and enable “Visible guides”. Then convert that to JPEG, using Acrobat or Photoshop.
