    I’m not sure that your script for typing a Unicode character will work. IThe same hex number is given for several different ornamental glyph characters

    Agh, those ornament glyphs! I had the same gripe. They’re a weird little subset of Unicode or something…but the script does work for many other Unicode glyphs. I’ll see if I can get Tom Phinney (Adobe’s font guru) to contribute to this thread and help us understand those Ornaments …
