A nice, relaxed show, folks — made even better by the mentioning of me. :-) (And for sure, I faked all my fattened-up screenshots!) And you kept beating the ACE horse — very good, as that ornery beast needs all the beating you can bestow. And I’m mighty glad to hear you’re working on a system to make it easier to read blog comments to older postings, as that is now too cumbersome. Still, my favorite feature this issue: the amazing Jessica!

Wow that’s some fantastic work by Jessica, I ain’t kidding when I say this, that is better than some portfolios I have seen from grad students after 4 years studying design. Fair dues to Jessica!

I didn’t get to hear all of the Podcast and missed chunks of it as one earphone is broke, and I had people yattering around me, so I missed some, I’ll catch the rest tomorrow!

Really pleasant cast - listened in my lunch break. Jessica is an inspiration, refreshing to know that even really young people are passionate about such great software.

I’ve given the ACE test some serious thought before (but I feel I don’t really need it - as I’m not a trainer). If I do decide to do it, I’ll wait to know that the questions are relevant to getting stuff done not useless parrot fashion recall.

Could I make a general comment?

I think that what David and Anne-Marie do is amazing! Their service to the InDesign community is priceless. They raise the bar for everyone - users and trainers alike. Their books and podcasts and videos are helpful and trusted. I wish there was some way we could say “Thank You” on a grander scale or more eloquently. There are a lot of talking heads and a lot of authors, but Anne-Marie and David are truly exceptional. As a trainer, there are lots of occasions when I’m faced with things I just do not know. Most I decipher but when I cannot, I turn to David and Anne-Marie every time. I’m very, very grateful. I aspire to provide the service and the value that you guys do.

Thanks very much, everyone! Glad you’re enjoying the podcasts as much as we are. We’re taking a break from podcasting this week as we prepare for the Miami InDesign Conference. “See” you next week!

I just wanted to say that it was awesome to hear the interview with such a young InDesign user. Her work is awesome and her attitude is stellar! I think it was a great addition to the podcast.
