I so want to get a Sphinx of Black Quartz shirt, but I was hoping it would have a picture of said black sphinx instead of a dragon!

It could be a dracosphinx? Perhaps???

Stop thinking so literally! ;-) Consider the phrase more like an alchemist’s incantation from the dark ages.

Also, we couldn’t find a picture of a sphinx shaped like an S, heh … anyway, David and I are working on other ideas for the phrase as well, but we wanted to get our first one up there to coincide with the Quizzler winner announcement. (One that’s set in plain old Letter Gothic as in the preference panel would be interesting.)

You’re more than welcome to email us your own designs! That would be fun, actually … we could include a scan of your signature on the t-shirt or something. And put a picture of it (or you wearing it) on the site. Hmmm.

Specs are the art needs to fit a 6″ x 6″ up to 10″ x 10″ area and be a 200 to 300 ppi PNG file. It can be any color(s).

Raphael: Wow! Just what the doctor ordered.

AM: re: sphinx vs. dragon… do I get to say “I told you so” yet? ;) I do like the dragon, though. I think of it as the dragon saying the phrase to the sphinx!
