To play the Quizzler, email your answer to info@indesignsecrets.com with “Quizzler” in the subject line. We will randomly choose the five winners from all entries we’ve received by midnight on Sunday, January 11, 2009.
If you’re on Facebook, you can see pix of many more of Nancy’s jewelry designs in one of her photo albums. Caution: Her Facebook picture is truly awful. She’s actually not deceased in real life.
In case you’re curious, here’s Lillstreet Art Center, where I’m taking my jewelry-making class.
Cool to do being something very adventurous, Anne-Marie. You have to post up samples of your work, if you could. Perhaps even sell them through Cafe Press on the InDesign Secrets store, if you’re any use (wink symbol here) ? I’m positive you’ll triumph at it. Well done.
I think it’s very healthy thing to be creative in something else not involving a computer, fair play.
Anne-Marie,
I think it’s great that you’re going to be working with metals and kilns and creativity not involving…zeroes and ones. (As limitless as the www is and as wonderful as ID CS[variable] is, the best things in life are analog. Until the day comes that ID can work with clay… As the economy worsens, I think we’ll all discover the value of tactile experiences offering an element of spiritual connection.)
One of the interesting things about ID Secrets is the passionate discussion of the use of tools—but not as much discussion in the joy of the process of creation and creativity AND the fruits of the end result(s).
Namasté,
Doug
