Just to let everyone know (or at least those who check on late posts’ comments), Buzzword is now accepting Firefox 3.5 as supported browser. It took “only” two weeks, but now it’s working. \o/

Thanks for the kind words, Paul. Sorry we can’t offer the podcast that often. But there are 750+ blog entries you can read until the next podcast.

As for not enough coffee… My apologies to everyone in podcast last about that. Thanks for the offer to send coffee, but fortunately we have stocked up again. Peets’ Major Dickason and Cafe Ladro’s Diablo blend are the two house favorites. I don’t actually drink much coffee (compared to many people I know), but when I do drink it I guess I want it so dark that it feels like a 2×4 up against the head.

I got started with the Podcasts late, and have been spoiled by listening to 4 or 5 every week. This was the first episode I actually had to wait for. Verdict? The lack of instant gratification is kind of a bummer. The fact that the special offers are actually still in force, though, takes away some of the sting.

David and Anne-Marie, thanks for being my slightly hyperactive pals who’ve I never actually met. David, you should have a PO box listed where we can mail donations of coffee “just in case”….

I haven’t had problems with loading speed. Granted, it’s not the fastest application ever, but it usually loads in a reasonable time, either with IE6, FF 3.0 or 3.5.

I just downloaded Firefox 3.5 yesterday, so I’ll be checking it out. I did notice that Buzzword took a long time to load.

Huge bummer at acrobat.com, which has persisted since last week: Buzzword is still not ready for Firefox 3.5. Since I downloaded the browser’s new version, I can only get a handicapped version, with no copy/paste (!) and many other bugs, because it is an “unsupported browser”. How long until Adobe gets it right with the second most popular browser on the web’s new version? Heck, to work on Buzzword, I’ve been opening it on IE6. IE6!!!! (I have to have it on my work machine to do testing.)
