My sister sent a text message to me yesterday- “Happy Pi Day”
David, I immediately thought of you!
To both of you, thanks for the tips on organizing styles
Thanks for the reminder to provide a clean template version if the file will be re-used. Often files will be used by volunteers or admins new to InDesign; I name styles with the initials of the company/org after – i.e. BodyTextWL – which distinguishes them easily from any imported Word styles that come in with text. That way they can click on the “WL” style names and clear overrides to fix the imported text up. This also helps their printer if they need to do file preparation later on.
I have only been able to memorize Pi out to 3.141592653. During math class in high school I was bored and that was as far as my calculator would display it.

Good luck!
I prefer mine á la mode
Just celebrated our 35th anniversary on March 14. Friends gave us this present:

They said it was for the king of puns and the queen of pies. Perfect.

Great episode! I’m just checking the links mentioned. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards from Austria!

Here’s my “never-to-be-humble” opinion about naming styles. I use the following format for naming styles:
A paragraph style would be named as follows:
para-B-BodyText
Having this information quickly available, makes diagnosing style problems much easier.
Just my 2 cents.
