Getting some lessons in Flash CS3 and I had downloaded the Trial about a month ago, and had no problems, went to install the trial on two laptops and the site was down, seems all app trials are removed. Low and behold, in the infinite wisdom of our IT dept., they had already bought it months ago and never told me. So long story short, got the full version. When I saw the trial site down, I immediately thought of Bob's post. There was no explanation on Adobe's site, so thank you Bob for the explanation. Thanks for the heads up Bob.
