Does anyone know if there is a script that can adjust the height/width of a text box?

I have several hundred individual text boxes. They all need to be the same width.

When I use “Fit Frame to Content” InDesign makes the boxes the exact height of the text, while leaving the width the same (which is what I want it to do).

However, when I “Fit Frame to Content” on text boxes containing only one line of text, the width of the box changes to the width of the text as well as the height.

I’d like to find a script that I can give a shortcut so that when I come to one of the “one-liners” I can punch a button and reset the height.

Any suggestions?

I agree that this would be helpful, but there’s no way to do it other than making your screen resolution smaller. Perhaps in CS4?

I have been using InDesign since ver.
1 and have never had to change the
text size in the pallets on the side of the screen. I just bought a new large flat panel screen and the text in the palletes are way too small. How can I change the text size in the pallettes? Thanks

Is there anyway to measure the area of an object in InDesign? Thanks.
