PR: Readabilities 3.0 InDesign Plug-in Released

[The following is a press release from I.T.I.P, relating to the Readabilities plug-in, which we discussed last year.]

Readabilities 3.0 Released

The new version 3.0 of the cutting-edge plug-in “Readabilities” (from i.t.i.p./aextra) has been released. It is available for InCopy and InDesign CS3 and CS4, on both Mac and Windows.

Fast, reliable, and precise analysis of text has never been so easy with InCopy and InDesign. With one click of the mouse, “Readabilities” calculates up to 10 different readability scores — each of them tailored to a special kind of text: schoolbook text, magazine articles, technical instructions, and more. Sophisticated options allow you to take influence on the calculations, for example by adding your own word lists or by choosing a method for syllable counting.

Readabilities analyzes text in English as well as in Spanish.

Readabilities is available in two versions: in a single-place version and in a special version for the editorial system K4 developed by vjoon. The latter allows you to directly store and retrieve all readability scores into and from the K4 database and thus have complete control over the readability scores of your entire publication. Please visit http://www.itip-gmbh.eu/en/products/readabilities-30/ and read all details.

We gladly provide a fully functional demo version. Please request it here.
