Real World Creative Suite A Good Read

I saw one of the first copies off the press of Real World Adobe Creative Suite 2 at The Creative Suite Conference in Chicago last week, and after having read a chunk of it, I’m pleased to report it’s well worth reading. While other books go into each individual application of the suite, Sandee Cohen and Steve Werner have done an admirable job in focusing on how all the CS applications work together to form a cohesive whole that really is bigger than the sum of each part.

Steve and Sandee know the Suite inside and out, and they clearly love sharing their knowledge with everyone.

argh, were they selling them at the show? I pre-ordered it on Amazon in April, I just checked and their estimated ship date is still 6/23/06.

Good to hear it’s as good as I assumed it would be (and got sneak glimpses at from Sandee and Steve over the past few months). There’s a real hole in the marketplace for books that concentrate on the Suite aspect of the CS apps.
