Taking InDesign on Holiday

Now, in the great filmic tradition of Enchanted April, The Fellowship of the Ring, and other movies about taking a holiday in a mysterious land, comes: InDesign on Vacation! Okay, I admit that this is a mighty silly movie. But I can’t think of a better, um, person to take on vacation with me.

(Thanks to Mike Rankin and his family for this one! Mike, you really, really need to get away from InDesign for a while. Why don’t you come out to Seattle in a couple of weeks to get away from that program for a bit…)

    Really, really stupid!
InDesign is great, but it’s just a tool.

    Ouch.

Of course it’s just a tool. In this case, it’s a just a tool to make people smile and lighten their day for 2 minutes.

One must never listen too closely to someone who has had their humor surgically removed.

InDesign just a tool? Never! It’s a way of life, it’s a paradigm, it’s a metaphor for inner awareness and universal actualization. InDesign is a profound conceptual allegory. Of course you’d take it holiday with you!

Besides, my motto about page-layout has long been: If you’re not enjoying it, you’re doing it wrong.

Hilarious. You did make me smile and lighten my day. I only wish my copy of InD played so nicely with the family. Here, it’s a Jezebel.

I put in a feature request for a larger product box. Adobe hasn’t replied yet. Sadly, the CS4 box is just as small, so it still only holds about two bowls worth of breakfast cereal.

Maybe we could virtualize the cereal, and get more that way…

Stupid, but still funny other wise!!! 2 minutes to put a smile on my face. God knows I have watched stupider stuff and it was time in my life I wish I had back.
