I found it whilst looking for information on how to set up a "List of Illustrations" in Indesign CS3. I've not found that info anywhere. The master page item that's using the style to be picked up by your TOC settings needs to be released from the master page in the document. If you're following my example from the video, the chapter titles appear on that opening right-hand page with the butterfly graphic. The chapter name text frame on each of those opening pages was released from the master page prior to generating my TOC. I have all my para styles linked and synced to the other docs in my book file. I'm curious - can the para styles I want included into my TOC not be on my master/template..and need to be on the pages themselves in my docs? Thanks for any insight on this issue.
