I don’t know how I turned this on, but now I can’t seem to find a way to delete it. It works like a border but it isn’t a border and you can’t see it when you print. I’d still like to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

      Try this:

On the menu, go to View > Extras > Hide Frame Edges

Tried didn’t work. It’s not a frame edge, but I don’t know what it is.

Blue dotted lines are often a signal that the object is on a master page, or that it’s a button, or that it’s part of a group.

Wouldn’t the blue dotted lines go away with hide frame edges if it were one of those, David?

Post a picture (screen capture) on imgur or some other image-hosting site and copy the URL to here.

      Hi There,

I didn’t see an answer that resolved the question. I had the same problem and figured it out.

The Text Frame that had the dotted link has a Hyperlink attached to it. See the image I attached.

To remove the hyperlink and the dotted line… (1) Select the Text Frame with the Blue Dotted Line. (2) Goto your Window Menu at the top. (3) Select INTERACTIVE > HYPERLINKS (4) Delete the Hyperlink and the Blue Dotted line will go away :)
