Occasionally as i work bridge will open. I will go into the edit keyboard shortcuts menu and see that InDesign has created a new shortcut to browse in bridge for me. How can this be fixed? I cannot reproduce the problem myself but it has happened numerous times.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Product Area: File Menu
Browse in Bridge… — Default: Opt+Cmd+O
You can Remove it there.
I found it by clicking Show Sets in Keyboard Shortcuts
That’s how i find shortcuts as well click show set and Ctrl|Cmd+f. But deleting the shortcut isn’t the issue. once i delete the shortcut and continue working it will automatically assign a new shortcut to Browse in Bridge. It isn’t the default Ctrl|Cmd + Alt|Opt + O it’s different each time. This time i was inputting a fraction using the numpad I entered 1/2 and only 12 came out in the document and bridge opened.. So of course i go into the shortcuts and saw that the numpad forward slash had been added as a text shortcut to browse in bridge.
