I’m new to CC. I’m wondering about the open command. Previously, command o (ha, “commando”) would just take me to my finder window. Now, first it opens what appears to be a recently opened panel. Then, I have to hit it again or click the “open” button on the panel itself to get to finder.
I find this wildly irritating. I also think the animation of the panel opening is over-programed. I can tell this thing is already gobbling my CPU because everything runs slower than my old CS5 did. So is there anyway to turn this panel off in preferences or something? And if there is, before I do it and forget about it forever, is there any reason why I shouldn’t do it?
Thanks!
