OK, we just got the fancy new MacBook Pro with MacOS Sierra 10.12.2 and finally upgraded to Adobe CC 2017. Is the following a preference I need to fix somewhere or wonkyness in the new CC??

      1. Resizing a text frame: Before, when you simply dragged the text frame open, the text contained in there would show up line by line LIVE so you could see if you made the text frame large enough for all your text. Or, when you made the text box smaller, it also made each line disappear as you dragged the text frame over it. NOW, the text just sits there and you have to let go of the frame to see whether you’ve made the box big enough? Is this the way it’s supposed to be?

      2. Ghost text? I have some text in a frame. I hit “enter” to push some text to a new column. Text still visible where it used to be AND in new location. Scroll up/down to refresh the view and the old text is gone as it should be. Weird!!

Ok, any thoughts out there or is the new CC just like a downgrade?

      G’day,

      1. Try holding down the mouse button before you drag the handle, for a second or so. When you drag the text should update live? This also works with image frames.

      2. I have experienced this as well, infrequently, on windows as well as MacOS. No idea what is going on here.

      regards,
      Michael

      Michael,

      1. Yes, that worked! Whew, thanks for the stress-saver on that one!!

      2. Thanks and let me know if you see any updates/progress on that.

      Cheers!
