      Hi everybody,
I’m working on a document of two pages & I want to change the size of the right one (to have an insert of a 6″x4.25″ size, for a standard postcard), but when I enter the values in the width box & the height box from the control panel I have the top of the right page which is deleted! I mean I have the desired size, the page I wanted, but it’s placed on the bottom & not on the top ! Funny isn’t ?!! Where is the problem ? Thanks for your help !

It all depends on how the Reference Points (or Proxy Points) or set up. You can find it at the far left of the control panel (it’s a diagram with three rows of three small boxes each). Whichever point is selected is regarded as the ‘anchor’ for the page. So in your example, if you want the page to stay on top and only cut off from tho bottom, then you have to select one of the top three reference points (before changing the values). And if you want it to anchor to the top and the left, then you would select the top-left references point.

In the Format Publications task pane, click Change Page Size. In the Page Setup dialog box, click the icon that represents the page size that you want. For example, click Letter 8.5 x 11″. If you don’t see the size that you want, you can scroll and choose a size from another publication type. Fee free to stuff (https://www.essayguardian.com)
