I can easily create a numbering scheme for Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc., but what if my book needs to have chapter numbering as Chapter One, Chapter Two etc? Or, just One, Two, Three? I still want to use a numbering scheme but I can’t see any way to create a list using the words rather than just normal digits.
Any ideas welcome.
Thank you
There was a recent article by @David “Making Page Numbers as Words Instead of Numbers”
https://creativepro.com/making-page-numbers-words-numbers.php
But that was related to the page numbers. I think @Jongware, the man behind wonderful scripts can help you in this regard.
Hi,
you can use this script : https://github.com/Swosven/indesignScripts
Becareful and sure of your GREP expression before use.
There’s more explanation at the begining of the file, and you can do tests first.
