Hello!
I wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. I’m working on creating an inline TOC at the front of an ebook and I’ve run into a bit of a problem. All of my chapters are separate InDesign documents, so I created a new Book and put them all in order. Well, with my inline TOC, I am unable to set up a TOC based on paragraph styles as my chapter titles are images.
Any thoughts how this might be possible? I imagine I can link the TOC once I unzip the EPUB, but I’m not overly savvy with CSS. I can follow a basic formula but creating it from scratch would be challenging.
I appreciate any thoughts or guidance on this issue.
J
I do not know if there would be a way to link the images as your TOC link, but what about having an extra paragraph return before the start of each chapter’s copy that you give a paragraph style. Simply adding return and pulling up text box to limit any reflow, then you could link to create your inline TOC easily under Layout/Table of Content Styles to generate bookmarked TOC.
