Hello everyone,
I searched for a solution to this issue for so long, but in vain.
I’ve been working on a document where I have to insert footnotes and assign 2 styles or more to their reference numbers.
In MS Word, it is easily done, but can it be done in InDesign?
If InDesign does not have the ability to do so, will it do in the future?
Thank you
Not sure what you mean by “assign 2 styles or more to their reference numbers”
Do you mean different footnotes should look different on the page?
This image shows the options I mean:

By using such options in MS Word, I can make footnotes numbering look like this:

So, can I do the same in InDesign?
No, not automatically. You would have to create those footnotes yourself.
Is there a specific way to do so? I mean to create them manually?
