OK OK, sorry… I do know this is an InDesign forum! I just think this might be a relevant place for asking this particular question:

I am editing a series of educational EPUB:s in Dreamweaver. Partly because being hands-on in the code has solved a few headaches, compared to my earlier attempts in InDesign. Partly cause I’ll be using the same material in web- and app-based formats.

      I found this Dreamweaver extension:
      https://www.dmxzone.com/go/22637/dmxzone-epub-manager/

It does look really practical – especially when doing books with a lot of pictures, videos and audio inside, as I do.
However, I haven’t been able to find any reviews or comments on the extension. And it’s on the expensive side, for the housekeeping it does.

Anyone in here had any experience with EPUB Manager from DMXzone? Good, bad, or ugly?

Appreciating any input on this, before I part with my dearly beloved money!

I was a beta tester for it last year, and demo’d it at PePcon. I was *so* excited to learn of it, it seemed like a natural win.

But testing the beta, I found was that it was unfortunately really buggy on my Mac and the interface was confusing. The developers were initially helpful but then went into quiet mode. Then it got released with few of my concerns addressed, and I see it hasn’t been updated since. I’ve not heard from them at all.

I also found it strange that 1) there is no demo version you can download and 2) it’s very expensive.

I did see some promise in it. If you can somehow get them to send you a demo, I’d go that route.
