I am working on a project in which I need to align the text in the left column with the the text n the the right column. So I get it that I need to export a fixed layout format. When I export using that format however the two columns overlap considerably, even though in the InDesign file they are clearly 2-columns. I’d be glad to provide visuals, the resulting code from InDesign, etc. Thanks to anyone who can advise a direction forward. I can’t find any information to help elsewhere.
I am having the same problem, I exported a document in Epub 2.0.1 with my Custom TOC formated in two columns and one other page formatted in two columns, but after been exported it appeared as one column, I am using InDesign CC 2014 version. Please Wake if you have found a solution for your problem please give me some hint
