      Salutations…

      Is there any plugin for InDesign, which suggests the words while typing?

      For example, when we type the word “Saluta”, “Salutations” should appear as a suggestion from where we can select the word. This would surely speedup the typing. If it is available for all the languages, it would be wonderful….

      Or, atleast, there must be a Editable Frequently Used Words list for InDesign, where we can manually add the word once and reuse the same across the InDesign files….

      any helps? suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

      Gree….tings!

      A quick search suggests that there is no such feature or plugin in InDesign.
      I guess traditional workflows have separated the two groups of people – the designers with InDesign on one hand, and the writers with Word/InCopy†/other word processors on the other hand.
      †I’m not even sure if InCopy has an auto-suggest feature.

      Edit>Preferences>Autocorrect

      Enable autocorrect

      Saluta
      Salutations

      Type “Saluta ” with the space and it will change to Salutations.

      Note, this only works while typing.
