      Hi everyone,

Has anyone had problems with fixed layout epubs readers for Android? I have tried Play Books, Gitden, Aldiko, Wattpad and it did not read my fixed layout epubs. Maybe I am doing anything wrong when exporting? Or Android devices simply does not reade interactive epubs?

      Thanks
      Maíra

I have not tried Gitden, but their site says they have strong support for it:
      https://gitden.com
and they seem to have good reviews:
      https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gitden.epub.reader.app&hl=en

So I wonder: What aspects of interactivity are you missing? Does nothing work?

Yes, I’ve had problems too. In part, it could have been my test file have been created poorly.
I’ve tried the following epub readers:
Gitden, UB Reader, Aldiko, eReader Prestigio & Ebook Reader.
What work, with the least amount of issues, was Ebook reader.

I have had decent luck with Helicon because I was working with an epub, fixed layout and was having problems with all of the apps you described above. Helicon is a free app and the only strange problem I am having is letter spacing is weird in copy. Otherwise works well. Good luck!

“Lea Reader” works with fixed-layout epub without any problems. It’s based on readium.
