      Hello fellow InDesigners :)

Is there a way to import multiple images using the grid feature (pressing up and right arrows while dragging) and have each image import at the same percentage size (eg:25%)? I love the grid feature but it resizes each image separately in proportion to the matching frames.

      — or —

Is there a way to select multiple imported images on the page and assign all the images the same percentage size at once? I could then size the frame to fit content.

      Thanks much1

      1. Select one image, not the frame
      2. Set the size to 25% > this value is stored in the clipboard
      3. Select all images, by selecting with the black arrow and choose then Select content from the control panel
      4. Object > Transform again > Transform Sequence Again Individually

Note that your grid will be destroyed, if you choose frame to content in the next step.

Thank you Kai, but I’m having trouble with step 3. Where in the control panel do I choose and select “content”? I neglected to mention I am using CS6.

AHHHH! I found it! It’s those little hierarchy looking boxes. Working with Indd for years and I have never realized what those symbols were for.

This works perfectly. I can adjust my frame to fit, then align to remake my grid.

Thank you Kai, you saved me hours of work!

Great tip from Kai – If you frequently use Transform Sequence Again Individually, assign it a Keyboard Shortcut. It helps a lot!
