Hi. I’m enjoying this great website for years, but for the first time I couldn’t find an answer by a simple search. The question is: I have aWord file with multiple cross-references. Importing it to InDesign “kills” all the cross references which i want to keep “live”. i.e. I need a way to convert Word file cross-refernces to InDesign cross-references. Is this possible? Any plugin or script that enables that?
I’m using Word 2013 and InDesign CC 2015.5
I don’t use cross references very often so I’m a bit unfamiliar but I wonder if this is also happens when you turn on the All Information option in the Clipboard Handling section of the InDesign preferences.
