The Process is working fine but have an issue someone may have a work around for.
I am importing a large excel sheet which has thirteen columns and hundreds of rows Typically Three of the column split into several rows within a row.
With in excel a row consist of say 6 rows Excel seems to know that the 6 rows are a single row because of the way the rules split up the larger rows
When importing I have to laboriously work through combining the the 6 rows that make up a single cell in the 10 other cells with in each row. I cannot see how i can automate this in indesign But wondered if anyone know if this can be simplified with in excel, I hardly use the program so not really sure of its capability. I can do the process manually in excel and it does import correctly, but this is a slower process than in indesign.
Appreciate any thoughts have an ongoing commitment so would like to work out a reasonable workaround
