I work for a publisher and our copy editors inserted changes though out a 400+ page book and when I open the InDesign file and update the Assignments, nothing happens, I cant see any of the changes or any of the notes (when I opened the InDesign file I never got any indication that the assignments had ever been updated). Even when I open the ICMA files in Incopy on my Mac, I cant see any of the changes or any of the notes. We’re working off a server and no one has moved the files off and back on so we don’t think this is a permission issue. I’m working on a Mac while the copy editors are working on PCs, and we’re also all working in CC2015. Any ideas on how to get the Assignments to update would be greatly appreciated.
Well opening the InDesign file on my coworkers Mac running Yosemite, it worked fine. Dont know why my Mac wouldnt see notes or allow me to update the changes.
