      Hi,

I have two questions related to Index and Footnotes respectively. I need the advice of my fellow experts.

      Footnotes:
I think footnotes are not allowed in Tables. So what is the best way to deal with them if some footnotes are supposed to be inserted in the tables.

      Index:
I know how to mark the index entries and later create the Index. But in my case, my client has given a list of words (both level one and two) to put the page numbers in front of them. Some of the level two words are also common to other level two.

So what is the best possible way to create an Index based on the client provided data.

      Any ideas…

HI Masood. The only good way to do footnotes for tables is manually (painfully). There is nothing automatic about it. Or, sometimes people make paragraphs that appear like tables, but really are not tables.

There are several alternatives for indexing:

Thanks David for your suggestions. We are trying to work it out…
