Greetings!
I have been creating interactive PDFs for some time, but have only recently taken advantage of InDesign’s interactive options. How do I edit hyperlinks, bookmarks, anchored text? I have created an SOP document that has hyperlinks that jump to other pages, however, I cannot select the text or item with a hyperlink or button action to edit. When I export the document, all the links/button actions etc., export to the PDF, but I can’t “find” them in InDesign to edit them.
I have all palettes open, hyperlinks, bookmarks, buttons and forms. When I view in story editor, I can see where I’ve placed hyperlinks and can delete them. If I highlight the text that has a hyperlink in InDesign, it does not show up in the hyperlinks panel. If I select a bookmark I have created in the bookmarks palette, the only options I have are, new, delete, and rename. Do I have to delete and start over whenever I need to edit?
I can edit these fields in Acrobat, but I created them in InDesign in order to make edits to the entire document so I don’t have to recreate the fields/actions in Acrobat after each export.
I am using InDesign CS6, Acrobat XI, iMac running Mavericks 10.9.5.
TIA!
