      Hello guys.

First of all sorry for my poor english skills, english isn’t my first language, and I learned it alone, so probably it will have a lot of errors.

I’m just an human resource guy with a mission, print the folder of the company!

I hired the a friend to make the folder, a skilled and creative guy, but with a little problem… addicted to drugs, this guy was arrasted and I don’t wanna tell to my boss, – Hey dude, my friend was arrested with coke, you will have to spend more money =/

So i want to figure it by myself, but I have 0 skills with indesign…

The indesign file is complete, all informations and pictures, tables, fonts, background seems perfect TO ME, but the printer is complaining that the file don’t have real blacks”.

      I don’t know how a black can’t be a real black but’s ok.

Seems that i need to change the background and everything else to C40 M 0 Y0 K100

Here’s to pages of the folder, I really don’t know what to do

Please, if anyone knows how to help me, I’ll be really thankfull

It’s hard to know what the printer means. It could be that you’re using an RGB black? That is probably not good. Or the Registration color? (Do NOT use Registration for normal color. That is 100% of every color, which is too much ink.)

It looks like you are using two kinds of black… a very dark black and a lighter black..?

Here is something on rich black:

It would probably be more useful if you got more information from the printer. They may be able to help you understand their concern — for example, is it the image or the InDesign file that is the problem?

The image, they accept jpeg or corel files.

The error message that i got on the website, is that the black isn’t in cmyk 40 0 0 100, i called them and a girl explain that with my files the black could be a little blue…

Yes, if the “rich black” in the Photoshop image is 40/0/0/100 then yes, it could be a little bit of a “blue black” (the black could appear a little blue. But if it is the image, you will need to find someone who can open the image in Photoshop and change the black in that program. InDesign cannot change that.
