      Help. I have a file which in which Pantone swatches were imputed into the swatch panel then converted to CMYK. Now the document will be printed in 2 color spot but I have no way that I know of to change the Pantone swatches back to true spot color pantone swatches. I used the option of making the swatch a spot color but my ink manager shows that my file has 6 printing plates. C,M,Y,K + the 2 pantone plates needed for the placed logo and artwork files created in illustrator using 2 Pantone inks. How can I fix this mess?

      Are you trying to make the whole document just 2-color? The ink manager always shows cmyk, I think, no matter what.

      You could use the separation panel to see what will really output:
