I’m designing a kids book and at the end of each chapter, there is a little French-English dictionary with the foreign words from the chapter.
I wanted to put them into a shaded box, format them dictionary style and have an image on the top of the box with the title of the box and the French main character (Madame C saying “Its Fun to Learn French!”).
I’m working in CS6, do I don’t have a paragraph shading option. I tried creating an anchored box with a object style on it, but that didn’t work for the pages on which the dictionary section starts on one page and continues on the next. The dictionary is never more than about 1/2 a page -2/4 of a page long, but it does at times span over 2 pages.

I don’t want to just insert a box after each chapter b/c it’s on its way to the proofreader and things may move as words or lines are deleted/added.

I’m sure there’s an easy fix, just don’t know what it is. Any ideas?

      Thanks!

There are several ways to do it, though none of them are as good as the new CC feature.
      For example:
      https://creativepro.com/highlighting-an-entire-paragraph-with-color.php
      https://creativepro.com/one-cell-table-highlight-paragraph-text.php

(But again the best option is to upgrade to CC.) :-)

      I’ll try the first option.
Forgot to mention that I already tried the second way, but I also had trouble with the cross-page part.

      Thanks.
