Tagged: pasting Word into InDesign
Hi Hi Hi
It’s that complex issue of copying and pasting and maintaining formatting.
I have Zanelli’s plugin, however, I’m not using a pdf, I’m simply pasting from Microsoft Word (docx or doc [97 compatible]
I drag, shift release and for whatever reason not all the pages import/place.
It’s a 203 page doc, started as pdf, saved as a docx file using open office and word and only 127 pages imported.
I created new docs, got rid of that which was imported and only a few more pages.
THEN
I got rid of even more that were imported, this time during the shift drag, the cursor showed the text but when I released it, nothing.
It leaves no text, the transform box is there, if only there was a way to edit text from an imported pdf then Zanelli’s script would be perfect. No ability to ocr imported PDF’s that’s simple?
Thanks
