I just recently started using CC Libraries and am trying to figure out what is probably a simple solution or answer. I have a company logo that is an Illustrator vector object that I place in a CC Library. When I place that into my Indesign document, it doesn’t carry over the transparency of that object. The object is essentially type that is transparent in Illustrator.
Any ideas?
Sorry, I have found the solution to my issue. I had to do a File Place > Show Import options and check “transparent background” to get those options to “stick”. Then when I went back to my CC Library I could drag and drop the assets and they would carry over the transparency. Voila!
Hey, great tip! Thanks for coming back and letting us know, Paul.
