Is it possible?
I need to print my book as legal half pages.
I need to print them in a laster printer in legal pages, cut into two halves and spiral bind!- hope I am clear.(Just a manual for my product!)
Printing a document in booklet form in CS4 is familier, but for the entire book How to do that?
Thanks

This has long been a big problem in InDesign. I strongly suggest that you export the book to PDF and then use an Acrobat plug-in to do it.

Thanks a lot. Understood that it is not possible. So far clear.
But if I created the book as a spread for Legal and export to pdf, it will output continious half legal pages. right?
Then how to do that page sequencing in Acrobat?
btw: I learned (I mean learning!) Indesign through your Lynda tutorial, Very comprehensive and detailed. (No hurry towards end – still maintainig the same slow and patient explanations!). Very usefull.
I am basically a Programmer and enterpreneur- But I cant live without learning layouting myself nowadays. So reached here and is having fun.
Thanks again.

What computer system are you on? The computer at work (a Windows 7 setup) has a printer driver where I can select double-sided and 2-up, so for a job like yours I'd export it to a single regular (non-spread) PDF at the final page size, then have the printer driver do the rest.

Thanks I got it.
I can convert it to booklet priniting mode by PDF distiller also. But there is a problem I am facing.
When I export a indesign document to pdf using export – the pdf generated is having good clarity in screen.(But there we cant introduce that booklet page sequence)
But when I use PDF printer (Distiller) the pdf gnerated is having images slightly blurred while we zoom in compared to exported pdf.(here I can use distiller driver settings to produce booklet form from the exported pdf). Anything wrong I am doing?
Any clue? I have tried by fidling with print quality settings, but cant find a way out.
Thanks a lot
