Okay, I searched the net. You are my last hope.
So, I figured that to copy effects from one object on page to the object on some other page is click and drag fx icon. And it works, mostly. Not really, no. It copies the IDEA of an effect, but not actual attributes.
Example:
object1 on page1 has Drop Shadow effect on, Spread 30%, opacity 30%
(as you well know, by default the spread is 0% and opacity 75%).
>>
I drag the fx from that object1-page1 to object2-page2:
it copies: Drop Shadow. But instead of my set attributes (spread 30%, opacity 30%) it just sets in the default.
So basically, I would have to manually set all those little tweaks again. :S For every page.
Does anybody know how to fix that?
Also, I tried styles and the thing is chaos, because a style build on a group with a knockout text and when I apply a style made on such a group for some reason, when I put it on any group (which is the same: rectangle+knockout text), it goes crazy and just deletes the rectangle and makes knockout text >> not knock-out and very much visible (I learned that the text has to be on opacity 0% to work as well as I want). So, I’m either not really good with styles or I’m doing something majorly wrong.
HELP, please :(
Make it a Object style – then it works! Then you also can change every object with that style afterwards … :o)
