Is there a plug-in available that would allow you to rename links within the Links palette? This would need to also rename the link within the finder as well.
I’ve used renaming scripts before, but I would like more control over the naming protocol than I have had with scripts. For example, a single page may have several links; some artwork, some hand-lettered text. And I would want to control how each link is named.
I realize this is a big order, but figured someone may be offer some advice/suggestions.
Thanks.
Gregg
Maybe Tomaxxi Link Rename, which Cari wrote up here: https://carijansen.com/2011/11/10/indesign-epub-support-tool-renaming-image-links/
Hi there, these links are now old/defunct… is there a modern way of doing this?!
