Hi!
This is my first post so excuse me any mistakes or if I missed any information!
I’m having a problem creating subsets of fonts in InDesign CS6 Server.
Basically I have a TTC font from which I need to generate a TTF subset. My problem is that I have to pass a string of characters as the createSubSet input and I don’t know how to get all the characters/glyphs available from the TTC font.
Right now I have a manually done String with all the characters I can remember and could find, but from time to time I miss some – as I was already expecting.
Is there a way to get all the available glyphs from a font so I can use that as the input?
Thanks in advance,
André
Unfortunately, you can’t by using an InDesign script. The only way is to open the font in a font editor and export a glyph list.
